Comparative histology of the neck area of a natural tooth and three Tramonte screw

This is a work of revision of the relevant literature. The authors read again, in view of current experiences, the monumental histological work performed in 1972 and born once again from the cooperation between Ugo Pasqualini and Stefano Tramonte. A fundamental step in implantology, not just Italian: for the first time in the world the formation of an epitelial seal and the presence of healthy marginal tissue were demonstrated around the implant emergence.
